You already know what is broken. We build the fix.
It is nearly always the same handful of problems. Work that gets entered twice. A process held together by one person’s memory. Five systems that were each a good idea on their own. Here is what we do about it.
What we solve
Replace spreadsheets.
If a spreadsheet is running something critical, it is one wrong sort or one broken formula from a bad day. We turn the process it holds into a system built for that job.
Connect what does not talk.
Either we connect the tools you already use, or we replace the ones that are not earning their place, so the work moves through one path instead of five.
Enter it once.
Information should be typed in a single time and go wherever it needs to go. Duplicate entry is not just slow. It is where the errors come from.
Get the work off paper.
Forms, checklists, sign-offs and inspections built for a phone in the field rather than a clipboard that has to be driven back to an office.
Automate the repetitive parts.
Handoffs, notifications, approvals and the report somebody rebuilds by hand every month.
See what is actually happening.
Scattered operational information turned into a dashboard that answers the question you actually ask on a Monday morning.
Build the system nobody sells.
Sometimes an off the shelf product gets you 80% of the way there and the missing 20% is the part your business actually runs on. That gap is where people end up with a spreadsheet bolted onto a system they are already paying for. We build the thing that was never for sale.
The shape it usually takes
Operations platforms.
The system your business actually runs on. Scheduling, records, workflow, approvals: the work that currently lives in spreadsheets, binders and somebody’s head.
Compliance and audit trails.
Software that proves what happened, when and who signed it off. Built for the day someone asks you to prove it.
Customer and client portals.
A place your clients log in to see their own projects, documents and status, instead of emailing you to ask.
Field and mobile capture.
Getting real information off a job site: photos, sign-offs, checklists, inspections. Works on a phone, in a truck, with bad signal.
Project management.
Project workflow shaped around how your company actually runs a job, rather than how project software thinks you should.
Reporting and exports.
Dashboards that answer a question, and exports in the format the regulator, insurer or accountant actually wants.
Internal tools and automation.
The unglamorous work: killing double entry, connecting two systems that do not talk, automating the thing done by hand weekly.
The same job, with and without the right system.
Not a customer of ours and not a case study. This is the shape most of these jobs take, whatever the trade: one piece of work, followed from the moment it arrives to the moment somebody can prove it happened.
Before
- Paper form
- Employee
- Supervisor
- Spreadsheet
- Office re-enters the data
- Management report
After
- Employee enters it once
- The system routes it
- Manager is notified
- Dashboard updates
- Report is already written
Same work. Nobody types it twice, and the report is already written.
Nothing in the second list is clever. The work did not change and nobody was replaced. The information stopped being retyped, and the report at the end stopped being a job in its own right because it was already written by the time anyone asked for it.
The part worth noticing is the middle. Every handoff in the first list is a place where something waits, gets missed or gets entered slightly differently the second time. Those are the steps we go looking for, and they are usually the reason a process feels harder than it should rather than any one system being bad.
Not sure which of these is your problem?
That is normal. Describe how the work happens today and we will tell you what we think is worth fixing first.
